Leander Paes, the revolutionary Indian tennis player along side with the Zimbabwean Cara Black have won the US Mixed Doubles Title at the US Open. The pair beat the England Britain’s Jamie Murray and his American partner Liezel Huber. The match didn’t last for more than an hour and 20 minutes. This is the second US open and fourth Grandslam title for Paes.
Paes has won two Grandslam title by partnering with Martina Navralitova and another with Lisa Raymond, but this is the first time he partnered with Cara Black.
Paes is the best known tennis player. He did suffer from a Lesion in his brain , which even raised doubts for his survival let alone playing tennis for the rest of the year. But he came back strong at 2004 and won many grandslam at that year. He is known for his grit and determination.
Biggest cat hopes that he will bring more laurels to himself and his nation as a whole.
